🎼 PlanetKeyboard is fully dedicated to styles, song styles and other patterns for arranger keyboards. We do not sell instruments, only ready-to-play musical content: style packs, song styles inspired by songs, general-purpose style banks, collections by genre, era or keyboard series.

🎛️ Yamaha Keyboard Styles

🎹 Yamaha arrangers and workstations we support

🎶 Our catalog includes Yamaha styles and Yamaha song styles for most of the major arranger families: PSR, PSR-E, PSR-S, PSR-SX, Tyros, Genos, Genos 2, YPT, DGX, CVP Clavinova and more. We also cover more specialized Yamaha gear such as the QY100 and QY700. PlanetKeyboard is one of the very few places where you can find styles programmed specifically for these QY arranger sequencers.

📚 Yamaha packs are available as broad “all-round” collections (pop, rock, ballads, latin, dance, disco, funk, jazz, ballroom, country, schlager, world music, etc.) as well as song-style packs inspired by famous songs.

🧩 Two Yamaha pack families: Premium and Budget

Depending on the model you play, you’ll find two main kinds of Yamaha packs:

• ⭐ Premium Packs: fewer styles per pack, but more elaborate and “produced” arrangements, with richer variations and finer detail.
• 💼 Budget Packs: a larger number of styles per pack, with more straightforward structures, still designed to be plug-and-play for rehearsals and live performance.

⚙️ Compatibility, file formats and One Touch Settings (OTS)

On compatible Yamaha instruments, most packs are delivered with dedicated OTS (One Touch Settings) tailored to the target model, so that calling up a style immediately recalls coherent sounds. The file formats may differ (.sty, Genos/Genos 2-specific collections, etc.), and each product page clearly lists which models are supported.

🎛️ Korg Arranger Styles

🎹 Korg lines covered

🎵 We provide styles for a wide range of Korg arrangers: the Pa series (Pa3X, Pa4X, Pa5X, Pa1000, Pa800, Pa600, etc.), EK50, microArranger, Korg i3 (1993 and 2020 models), XE20 and various older or more specialized keyboards. The packs cover both mainstream use (ballads, pop, rock, latin, dance, world, etc.) and more niche genres.

🗂️ How Korg styles are organized: SET, STYLE, USERxx.STY and the Pa5X approach

On most Korg arrangers, styles are delivered as .SET folders. Inside a SET, there is a STYLE folder containing one or more files named USERxx.STY (USER01.STY, USER02.STY, and so on). Each USERxx.STY file can hold from 16 up to 48 user styles, depending on the instrument and style format.

🔁 The Korg Pa5X works differently. Traditional .SET folders have been replaced by .KST folders. In a KST, you again find a STYLE folder, but this time it contains .STG files (instead of .STY), and each STG file represents exactly one style. On Pa5X there is no longer the concept of “multiple styles” inside a single .STY file. Our Pa5X packs are structured specifically for this .KST/.STG layout.

🎛️ Ketron Arranger Styles

🎹 Ketron ranges we cover

🎶 PlanetKeyboard offers style packs for a broad spectrum of Ketron keyboards and modules: the SD line (including the Ketron SD40), Audya series, XD series, X series, and the latest Ketron EVENT family (Event, Event X, Event EVM, Fusion, Globe). We also support the legacy Solton/Ketron formats used by older classic arrangers from the brand.

🧾 Styles for Ketron are supplied in the formats expected by each instrument, for example .KST or .PAT, depending on the target keyboard. Each product description spells out which formats and models are included.

🎛️ Roland Arranger Styles

🎹 Modern and legacy Roland arrangers

🎵 Our Roland style packs cover both recent arranger keyboards and modules (BK series, E series, etc.) and many much-loved legacy models: G70, E80, E50, E60, G1000, EM2000, GW8, GW7, Prelude, along with earlier references such as E86, RA95, RA800, G800 and G600.

💾 Roland style formats: STL and STH

Most Roland packs are delivered in .STL format. For some compatible instruments we also supply styles in .STH format, allowing you to take advantage of additional arranger capabilities where supported by the specific generation and product line. Each product page lists which formats are included and which keyboards are recommended.

🎶 For Medeli, PlanetKeyboard was among the first providers to release style packs for the AKX10 Series and AK series, in particular Medeli AKX10, AKX10S and AK603. We also cater for the Thomann AK-X1100, which is largely based (over 90%) on the AKX10 architecture.

💿 GIGASTYLECOLLECTION NEXTGEN: Multi-brand style database with integrated style player

For Yamaha, Ketron and Roland players who want to go beyond individual packs, PlanetKeyboard offers an exclusive product: GIGASTYLECOLLECTION NEXTGEN. It is a large multi-brand style database integrated into dedicated software for Mac and PC.

GIGASTYLECOLLECTION NEXTGEN includes a database of more than 9,400 styles, together with:

• ▶️ a built-in style player (playing the styles contained in the included database),
• 🔍 a search engine to find styles by name, genre, tempo, and other criteria,
• 🎼 a MIDI file player,
• 🧰 plus additional practical tools to access, extract and audition the styles from the large library.

The collection is available in several editions (Basic, Standard, Pro), each one adding more content and features. It is particularly suitable for players who use multiple arranger brands (Yamaha, Ketron, Roland and others such as Solton, Technics, Wersi, Kawai, etc.) and want a central resource of new styles.

📦 Delivery, downloads, USB sticks and floppy drive emulators

All of our style and song-style packs are delivered by download as standard. After purchasing, you receive a download link to retrieve the files and copy them to your usual media (USB stick, memory card, etc.), depending on your keyboard model.

📀 For customers who prefer a physical medium, we also offer an optional USB stick containing your purchased styles. This USB stick is formatted in a standard way for computers (Mac/PC), so you can later transfer the files to the storage format used by your instrument.

If you are using a floppy drive emulator (Yamaha, Korg, Roland, Ketron), you will typically need to:

• 💻 connect the PlanetKeyboard USB stick to your computer,
• 🔁 use a second USB stick dedicated to the floppy emulator,
• 🧩 and run the software supplied with your emulator to copy the styles onto that special USB stick with the exact disk image format required by the emulator.

Styles delivered on a USB stick by PlanetKeyboard are not meant to be plugged directly into a floppy emulator, because each emulator and each keyboard brand uses its own specific structure and formatting. Passing through a computer and the emulator software is therefore required.
