Delivery & installation (Yamaha specifics)

All Yamaha style packs from PlanetKeyboard are delivered by download as standard.
Optionally, you can order delivery on USB key as an extra service, it includes the transfer of your purchased style(s) pack(s) on USB stick and wordwide shipping.

  • To enjoy download delivered styles packs on modern Yamaha keyboards, you simply:

    1. Download the ZIP file,

    2. Unzip it on your computer,

    3. Copy the styles to a USB stick,

    4. Load them from the [USER] / [USB] sections of your keyboard.

  • For older Yamaha models with floppy disks (or floppy-drive emulators):

    • You may need to transfer styles to floppy disks,

    • or to a special USB stick used by your floppy-drive emulator.

    • In that case, you must use your computer and the software supplied with your emulator and an additional usb stick of your own to copy our styles onto your emulator’s formated USB stick.

    • PlanetKeyboard’s optional USB delivery cannot be used directly inside a floppy emulator because of model-specific formatting: you always need to transfer the files from our USB to your emulator formated USB first.
