BK series, E-A7 and modern arrangers

BK-7m, BK-5, BK-9 and E-A7 are compact yet powerful arrangers. They are widely used by solo performers and small groups.
For these instruments we supply styles in STL format, and for some models en (G1000, EM2000, VA7, VA76…) STH where appropriate, so styles can be loaded and played directly on the target keyboard.

Previous flagships: G70, E80, VA76, VA7, E50, E60, G1000, EM2000

Older flagships such as G70, E80, the VA Series E50, E60, G1000, EM2000 are still in use by thousands of musicians.

Roland packs from PlanetKeyboard typically include:

Pack types: Premium vs Budget

To match different needs and budgets, our Roland catalogue is organised into two main “stylepack types” of packs:

Premium packs
- fewer styles per pack,
- more complex / complete programming,
- carefully curated selection,
- ideal when you want maximum quality and depth for live use or recording.
Budget-oriented packs
- larger number of styles per pack,
- still musical and usable, but slightly less complex / detailed,
- perfect if you mainly need a huge repertoire to cover many situations at a reasonable price.

In both cases, each pack clearly states the supported Roland models.

Delivery & installation (Roland + floppy/emulators)

As with other brands, Roland packs are delivered by download by default, with an optional USB delivery.

For modern Roland arrangers (BK, E-A7, GW-series, Prelude), the usual process is:
1. Download & unzip,
2. Copy the styles (STL/others) to a USB stick or appropriate media,
3. Load or import them via the keyboard’s style/media menus.
For older Roland instruments with floppy drives or floppy-drive emulators (e.g. G800, G600, RA-modules, legacy E-series):
- If you use a floppy emulator, you have a dedicated emulator USB stick formatted in a specific way.
- You must use the emulator’s PC software to copy our style files from your computer (or our optional USB) onto an additional emulator formatted USB stick.
- Our optional USB delivery cannot be used directly in the emulator, because each emulator/brand uses its own proprietary disk image / formatting.

Roland users can also benefit from GigaStyleCollection NextGen, our exclusive software which enables style search and style playback solution :

for Mac and PC,
with style player (database styles only can be played, no additional or external or other styles can be played), style search engine, MIDI file player and other tools.

Available in Basic, Standard and Pro editions. Basic can export 1 style at a time, Standard can export styles up to 100 by 100, Pro up to 200 by 200.
